Scope and Contents

Contains manuscripts, drafts, research notes, photocopies of books, articles and other material, and bibliographies written and collected by Hugh Nibley pertaining to his publications. Topics of the material include the Joseph Smith papyri, Abraham, the Pearl of Great Price, and many other topics related to Christianity and Mormon doctrine. Materials date from approximately 1926 to 2008.

Contains articles, biographies, poems, certificates, diplomas, research papers, bibliographies, notes, letters, and drawings collected by Hugh Nibley. Contents document the life of Hugh Nibley, or are about some of his books or various religious topics. Materials date from 1927 to 2005, bulk from 1963 to 1997.

Contains bibliographical notes on books and manuscripts covering various subjects from early in Gates' career. Contains little on Mesoamerica. Contains notes on various Maya gods and calendars. Notes are in both English and Spanish languages.

Scope and Contents Contains a seven page bibliography of scientific works on Tabasco. Numerous typed notes and documents relating to the industrial development, economy, and trade possibilities of Tabasco with the United States. Scope and Contents

Contains writings related to Gates' institutional affiliations with the Aryan Theosophical Society, the San Diego Museum, and the Department of Middle American Research at Tulane University. While his work with the Department of Middle American Research at Tulane University was directly related to the study of Mesoamerica, Gates' affiliations with the Aryan Theosophical Society and the San Diego Museum were not related to the study of Mesoamerica.
